Britney Spears Shaves her head
Leave it to Britney Spears to shave her head before going completely nuts and beating on a paparazzi SUV with an umbrella. The head shaving was a sign that something was definitely wrong in BritVille, but no one could have seen the events that followed. Everything from beating the SUV with an umbrella to dating a paparazzi and even being taken away to a psych ward in an ambulance. The head shaving in an LA salon stated it all.
February 19 2008, crying in a hair salon in Los Angeles, Britney shaved her own head after the salon owner refused to take part in the Extreme Makeover: Britney Breakdown Edition. Esther Tognozzi, the owner said she was afraid to shave Britney's head, for fear of legal action for ruining the singer's image.
The stylist said Britney was being "hormonal" and would regret it the next day. Britney wasn't phased and, "grabbed the buzzer and started buzzing her own hair off." Illustrating her stellar judgment and good sense once again.
Tognozzi said Spears seemed to be “just there in body and not really emotionally there,” but did get “a little bit teary-eyed” when she realized her mother might get upset.
The whereabouts of the hair was a mystery, although an enterprising person in Pennsylvania was selling 10 lots of the purported locks on eBay at $50 per lot.
After her visit to Esther's Haircutting Studio and shaving her own head, Britney headed out to a tattoo shop to get two new pieces of ink. Britney spent $80 at the 'Body and Soul Tattoo parlor in Sherman Oaks, Ca for a black, white and pink cross on her lower hip. She also got a red and pink lip print on her wrist. The tattoo artist said Spears appeared, "distraught and disturbed." As usual.
All of this happened on the same day that reports surfaced stating Brit-Brit had entered into a rehab clinic in the Caribbean and then checked herself out one day later. Her reps denied the reports.

Cameron Diaz goes cueball
For her role in the movie My Sister's Keeper Cameron Diaz thought it would be much more authentic to shave her head instead of using makeup and a bald cap. She shaved off her perfectly blonde surfer girl locks in May of 2008. Many thought it was faux at first, but photographers and crew on the set insist it is real. The common thought now is that it's fake, but the pictures speak for themselves.
