Cameron Diaz Sex Tape
From WhatRumors: The Celebrity Gossip Wiki
At 19 years old, Cameron Diaz starred in a weird amateur S&M video where she wears a breast-bearing leather outfit and dances around. What? That's right, Cameron got her kink on. This was shot back in 1992 by a man named John Rutter. He also took some test shot photographs of Cameron without a shirt on.
Rutter had tried to "sell" the tape and the topless photos back to Cameron in 2003, after she had established herself as a hot Hollywood commodity and right before the new Charlies Angels movie "Full Throttle" was to be released. He said that he was giving her "the first rights of refusal" and asked for 3.5 million dollars (USD). Cameron snapped back with quick legal action stating that she had never signed a modeling release form. Cameron had also testified that Rutter had told her that his potential buyers for the movie were "going to use this against you" and would portray her as a "bad angel" in advertisements. Everyone went to trial and expert witnesses were brought in to verify the signed release form that Rutter had produced. It was deemed to be fake. So the judge sentenced Rutter to three years and eight months imprisonment.
In imposing the sentence, the judge said Rutter had failed to show remorse and displayed "definite criminal sophistication".
"Mr Rutter did take advantage of a position of confidence that Miss Diaz had in Mr Rutter," he added.
Ms Diaz was not in court for Rutter's sentencing. But she did release the following statement:
A civil suit against John Rutter was decided on March 9th of 2006 in Los Angeles Superior Court. The court found in favor of Cameron for an undisclosed amount of money. It was not decided if Rutter would have to pay for Cameron's court costs as well. A hefty sum of $650,000.
At that time the judge also issued a permanent injunction prohibiting the sale, license or other use of the photos and the videotape.
