There's nothing better than D-List reality stars fighting amongst themselves over a washed up drummer in a former teen hearthrob band. That's where Shanna Moakler and Kim Kardashian come in. The two hot, yet skanky reality stars fought over Travis Barker in July 2008.
Shanna was married to Travis Barker October 30, 2004 - January 2008. Travis is best known as the drummer for boy band Blink-182. While Shanna is best known for being Miss USA in 1995. The two had a reality show called Meet The Barkers on MTV. They have been on again, off again for years and are constantly spotted together with their two children, Landon and Alabama, particularly at Disney World where Travis originally proposed.

The Barbeque Brawl
On July 21st 2008, Queen of the C-List herself, Carmen Electra held a party in Malibu, CA. Apparently Kim Kardashian was there with her ever-classy boyfriend Reggie Bush. Kim arrived, chatted with Carmen for a while and then went off to party in another area of the house. Shanna stomped over to Carmen and loudly asked "Who invited Kim here?" Reggie overheard this and started to immediately defend Kim. According to sources, this made Moakler even more enraged as she insulted and berated Kim non-stop.
At the party, a source said, "Kim heard the yelling and came downstairs. Moakler was embarrassing herself, she was causing such a scene. She was ranting about Kim and her friendship with Travis from 2 years ago."
Additionally, Kim is so used to being berated and insulted at public gatherings, "Kim didn't look fazed – she didn't respond or look in the direction of Moakler – her and Reggie decided to leave to prevent the scene from continuing."
Wisely, Kim left the party. In a cage match between a beauty queen and a pampered booty-licious reality star, the smart money is on the beauty queen. Kim made the right decision to immediately make herself scarce.

That night, Shanna posted on her Myspace.com blog the following entry:

Dear diary, Oh em gee...what a day! I had my last session of lipo-desolve in Vegas. Cracked out on adderall and perks; I just needed to head back home. I was about to jump on my helicopter that I rightfully won in my latest divorce, when the Maloof brothers gave me their lear jet. Yes, honeys. Gave me. Suck it. Anyway, I call up my best star fucking whore of a best friend Chrissie Carnell (who's done surprisingly well in this town without a publicist...she must be a Scientologist) and go to Carmen and Rob's party in the Bu. Worried that I might not get that crotch shot I put in my "the secret" dream book (damnit, when is it MY TURN???)...I paid the photogs extra to hide in the trees. Then all of the sudden there is a commotion outside. The photogs I paid for just got into a slapping fight with Kim K's bought paparazzi. Kim wanted to make sure that she got that double wide shot, but I had to upstage that double wide girl. So here it is America.......Never in my wildest dreams would I ever feel sorry for, um, Ms. Hilton but I do, because she was taken advantage of by a simple closet organizer who has no modeling skill, hosting ability, acting talent....but there was that poorly distributed sex tape....damn, could never get Travis drunk enough...ahem...neither could Kim....Anyway, my mama always said, "where there's a will there is a way..."
OH MY GAWD......I gotta go. Perez just called me. He just found my kids at the Vegas airport. I, like, totally forgot I had them....There were no paparazzi around to remind me. Sheesh.....Life is so hard.

Two days later on July 23rd 2008, Kim was spotted wearing an outfit from Famous Stars and Straps, the clothing line owned by Travis. A clear and deliberate "fuck you" to Shanna.
Shanna speaks out
The next day, an interview with Shanna appeared on The Young, Black and Fabulous.
Shanna: Yea! I was at this bbq and I saw what I thought was a donkey posing on the stairs but much to my surprise, it was Kim Kardashian. No, wait, it was a donkey! She’s soooo fucking fat! She’s 5′2″ and she’s like 140. She was wearing a sarong to cover her huge big ass! I like a nice ass but hers is not a nice ass!
and then finally explains,
Shanna: Anyway, I saw her and she was standing next to Carmen for her press op, of course. I thought I was going to be at this bbq with friends so when I saw her I simply had zero desire to be there. I was walking out but the sheer site of her makes me ill. I actually feel bad for Paris. Okay, maybe not, but sort of. This girl totally uses her! I walked by her and just told her that she was lucky to be standing next to Carmen. I was trying to respect her party but then the east coast came out of me and I threw my drink on her Kim. I decided I was tired of being the moral police! I went to grab my things and go when my girlfriend asked me where I was going. I just told her I absolutely didn’t want to be there if that whore was there. Then, Reggie comes up and says (Shanna switches to a Mr. T voice) “YO! Be careful what you say!” And I was like “Your girls a whore!” and he said it again - “Be careful what you say.” and I just told him again - “Your girl’s a whore!” I seriously don’t understand, can someone explain to me why these men defend these girls who literally have a different tongue in them every night?! If your woman wants to fuck married men and ruin families, you better expect a pissed of ex-wife is going to come out! It floors me when they’re so shocked and awed by this! Ugh, so he came in and was trying to be really nice and I actually liked him! I just felt bad for him because he was defending her and he has no clue why I was event upset. …I’ve got some e-mails he should probably read.

Kim Kardashian responds on her site
Kim used her blog on KimKardashian.com to post her own spin on the altercation.
She basically says that she was a model for Travis Barker's Famous Stars and Straps clothing line for one season in 2005. She says the relationship was professional and they were not involved. She goes on to say it was a mistake for her to wear something from the clothing line the next day, but she wasn't thinking. Then she ends with reinforcing her relationship with Reggie is solid and saying she has no hard feelings. She never mentions Shanna Moakler by name.

Originally I wasn't even going to comment about this whole Malibu situation over the weekend, but I see how much you guys are writing in, and wanting to know the truth, so I just want to set the record straight.
I was a model for Famous Stars and Straps clothing line owned by Travis Barker. I ONLY had a professional relationship with Travis, in which he hired me to represent his brand for one season, which was a year and a half ago.
Secondly, it was immature of me to wear a Famous Stars and Straps t-shirt out the other day. I just wasn't thinking. I want to apologize to you guys for causing confusion and instigating a negative situation. I get so many letters from young girls who come from every type of background and I want to be a positive role model for them, and to my younger sisters Kendall and Kylie. It was a really immature thing to do and I was just upset about the situation.
Reggie and I are in a normal healthy relationship. We trust each other blindly. He was there with me every step of the way throughout the Famous shoot. When I got upset about things being said that just aren't true, he has helped me to see how silly this whole situation is.
I have nothing against the parties involved and don't know why they feel the way they do. But what I do know is that there are so many more important, positive things to focus on right now, and that's what I will continue to do: look forward, not behind.
